Enviro-Vac 50 came up short in some of the bigger SSUSA tournaments in 2008 and need to try and get a little younger. Here's a look back at 2008.

  • Olympia, WA May 16/17/18 - Enviro-Vac are finalists in the SSUSA CAN-AM Majors
  • Enviro-Vac wins the CAN-AM 50s in Kelowna, BC August 9/10
  • Enviro-Vac win ISA 50 Major Ferndale, WA
  • Enviro-Vac 3rd in Men's 40 Comp SPN Super Series, Provincials
  • Enviro-Vac 40 Win NSA Competitive and Enviro-Vac 50 are Finalists in NSA 40 Intermediate

ORLANDO, FLORIDA - TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

The Enviro-Vac Marauder50s played Major in the SSUSA Tournament of Champions (TOC) in Orlando, Florida February 15/16/17. Team took 3rd place but only because there were only 4 teams in major with one team being rated Major + and another being moved up to Major Plus.

All games except the first game of the round robin where close.  Players and families enjoyed great weather and great time with the tournament hosts going out of their way to put on a terrific FREE dinner and open bar. Oddly enough…the two Canadian teams from BC in the TOC where the only two teams left after dinner who where seen drinking MOLSON late into the evening.

X-Men, the other team from BC took 2nd in AA and had a good shot at wining. Would we do it again if we qualified? Probably not if it’s in February. All the players agreed it’s too far to go to and to try and be in any kind of ball shape for a Canadian team in February is not realistic. Hell! We haven’t even put away the sled dogs yet at this time of year.
